I may be cheap but well... I quite like that new song I like Cryptopsy from a distance so that might be just that (my death metal fanboy years are far behind me hehe, I feel old )

cryptopsy have been writing memorable songs for years now. listen to nearly anything off of "none so vile". listen to the guitar work on the song phobophile and tell me its not going to be stuck in your head for the rest of the day. homework then misguided comments please.
Yeah, I remember when None So Vile came out...I was hearing it in my sleep. IMO, that album was the pinnacle of their musical metal sound that they are trying to reach now.

Personally I think lord worm is woefully bad. Back on none so vile i could handle it but his vocals on once was not were nothing short of a disgrace. I like Disalvo's vocals a lot more and i like the new guy on the myspace track as well.

I will say that if the album is full of tracks like the one on myspace i will buy the album listen to it for a few weeks then it will maybe get some play every 2 or 3 months whereas the other albums i listen 2 weekly.
Once Was Not is a shitty album too, comparing that to NSV isn't really fair. I like a few non Worm tracks, but that's about it. Cryptopsy to me is all about Blasphemy Made Flesh and None So Vile. I was lucky enough to see Cryptopsy live twice with Worm, so I'm happy, I just hate the fact that they're connecting this garbage to Cryptopsy, it hardly seems fair...

Worship Your Demons actually sounds great, it's the heaviest and most defined guitar sound I heard from them. I like the way that they managed to keep a steady beat for a change in a song cos it retains the power. Now if the other songs turn out to be like Bullet For My Valentine, that's going to really suck. But if everything else sounds like this track, I'm definitely going to buy it!

ive been a fan of cryptopsy for a long time

and honestly Worship Your Demons is a pretty damn solid and catchy track that grew on me

but the other two songs werent exactly my cup of tea

i admire their experimentation and realized that these guys are musicians like you or me they want to spice up their music, instead of pulling out of metal completely they are adding new ideas and what not to their sound

I'll probably never wear my Cryptopsy NSV shirt ever again just because I don't want to be connected to this garbage...
