yeah thats my point to be fair. Just the stupidity.

If its not to someones taste fine i just hate that a lot of metal fans just start throwing the words core and emo around as soon as they find something they dont like.

That new song, I like. The other stuff on the myspace player, well, just reaffirms why i can't listen to over the top tech-death as it is just, well...

Guess what, sounds like cryptopsy have started writing songs. And if that's the case, I'd be inclined to buy the album, as that new song on their myspace is pretty kick ass.

And, if I were in that position, then I'd be much more eager to release an album that annoyed a lot of people, because, well, that's half the fun. Controversy means: you get more people listening to it, more people who'll give it a shot.

yeah i can see the new album doing as well as the older ones itl just be different people buying it.

and plenty of folk who havent heard of cryptopsy will see 'cryptopsy are teh sellowtz' on forums and check them out to see what the fuss is about.

You know...I like the track. Metal is broad category, and I still hear the roots. I think it's just weird for some people to hear Cryptopsy as an actual cohesive BAND, and not just Flo and Worm. I dig it.

The new songs are probably some of the worst crap I've ever listened to. They REALLY should have changed the name. I have nothing against people wanting to change their sound and play something new and different, but this is so fucking different that it really shouldn't be the same band.

I'm not a fan of this new garbage they are putting out. in my opinion they should have just changed their name. I feel the same way about this as i do about the "misfits" these days. they should have changed their name too. bah.

cryptopsy have been writing memorable songs for years now. listen to nearly anything off of "none so vile". listen to the guitar work on the song phobophile and tell me its not going to be stuck in your head for the rest of the day. homework then misguided comments please.

Notice it's the Canadians who hate the new Cryptopsy

I think Canada has officially disowned Cryptopsy. I want to see Lord Worm start a new band. Apparently he's pretty into grim black metal, maybe he should start a band like that.

haha, they were such a great representation of canadian metal for awhile. all bands change over time, it's a given but sometimes you should just call it quits and leave em wanting more.

i like the track on myspace but i wouldnt say its a patch on albums like and then youl beg or whisper supremacy.

Personally I think lord worm is woefully bad. Back on none so vile i could handle it but his vocals on once was not were nothing short of a disgrace. I like Disalvo's vocals a lot more and i like the new guy on the myspace track as well.

I will say that if the album is full of tracks like the one on myspace i will buy the album listen to it for a few weeks then it will maybe get some play every 2 or 3 months whereas the other albums i listen 2 weekly.
