No, it holds just as much water as every other opinion here - outside of the measurable stuff, guitars are personal preference. However, having played several J Customs, I'd say the actual build quality (fit & finish, wood quality) of your average USA Dean is somewhat better. I've only played one LACS guitar, so it's hard to compare that...

Which is strange, since he had some kind of huge Explorer-shaped Warwick thingy when I saw them last summer. Apparently, however, he plays what he wants to, which I have to respect, given his boss' attitudes towards gear...

Am I the only one who noticed the mistakes on the fast arpeggio stuff? Definitely some wrong notes in there, but his playing is still very impressive for being so early on in the tour. Took Glen a long time to get the solo down well. I love the accents he puts on the bends.

yeah, that TOS solo is not flawless, but pretty damn close. don't get me wrong, i think Chris is probably the BEST guitarist in existence right now, purely just for his command of the instrument and overall versatility, but i think Marty and Glen have a much better vibrato.

It's probably not up to Dave what Chris plays. Chris more than likely has a contract with Ibanez, and he has to be seen live playing Ibanez.
