Stealthtastic is a jewel in the rough
So today i got to see some Free Jazz players and...

it was amazing! The bassist and pianist started playing at first and established a rythem then the guitarist came in and started solo-ing orgasmically. Also the guitarist had a really nice PRS with F-holes in it. After that the bassist solo'd (lol bass solo) then the pianist solo'd, i thought that the piano solo sounded a little better than the guitar solo but they were both really well done. This was the best thing ever to happen at school and really made my day. Unfortunately they made us sit until they left and didn't even tell us their bands name which really sucked, oh yeah and i got tickets to go to progressive nation in vancouver anyone else going?

Oh yeah the jazz bands singer was also REALLY incredible he sounded like BB king and the dude from soundgarden but a little cleaner

It's mostly the polyrhythms and Frederik's solos.

Anyway, it's cool that you actually got to hear decent music at your school. If my school had those guys, I'd say less than 50 people wouldn't loudly protest, and less than 20 would care for it.

Explain polyrythems please. Is it when you play two rythems over each other?
