The singer on Symbols Of Failure is a different guy to the one on Isle Of Disenchantment and Scepter Of The Ancients for those who didn't know, he's a bit less varied than the old guy but does the brutal vocals more convincingly. I'm not the biggest fan of this band, but they're definitely one of Australia's best, and their ridiculous drummer also plays in Ruins, The Amenta and now Blood Duster, and played on the last Aborted album, which is why Psycroptic haven't done anything in so long, I guess.

They said at the end of their set when I saw them that they're working on a new album.

I actually haven't seen them since their last tour with the old singer. It seems like they never play death metal gigs anymore, or with other bands I wanna see, just supports and whatnot. The drummer was good with Blood Duster, although he's way too rehearsed for those guys

I like the new singer a little more than the old one idk, but both are similar in style. As far as the new album goes, they have 9 tracks and are already recording some of it i heard

I actually like "Symbols" better than "Scepter" - for some reason the groove just locks on to me harder. I was thrilled when I found out they'd be on Summer Slaughter this year...

Psycroptic are my heroes. Looking forward to something new, although I do miss Chalky on vocals.
The parts where he says "Shweee" in Colour of Sleep and "Ee. Ee. E-ee-ee-ee ee-eh eah ah uh ahk ahk!" in Valley of Winds Breath and Dragons Fire are frickin' hilarious.
