The nineties are always good for a laugh.

And who else agrees with me that Machinehead are a bunch of bandwagon whores?

The fact that so many people seem to be unaware of Machine Head's shameless trendhopping just goes to show that maybe the incessant fellating they get in the UK tabloid metal industry actually works, heh. I also find it funny that people seem so quick to blame Machine Head's nu-metal albums on the old guitarist; I dunno about you, but it sounds like Robb Flynn busting dope rhymes on my bitch azz to me, not random guitar guy. Takes two (or in this case, four) to tango. Oh well.

Burn My Eyes, Through The Ashes of Empires, and The Blackening are by far Machine Head's best offerings without a doubt ... but I'd be lying if I said that I didn't find some of their Nu Metal phase stuff catchy.

"...The More Things Change" definitely should be in that list too. That was most certainly not their nu-metal phase (The Burning Red & Supercharger).

It's definitely great to see Machine Head are back to making kickass records again

That's because they ARE mtv rap fags!

Personally haven't yet heard any Machine Head that didn't suck.

It was nu metal. I haven't heard anything by machine head that really blew my socks off anyway. Always found them rather boring.

the recent sung vocals i've heard from MH are like screamo/emo bullshit lesson 101. quite sickened me.

with regard to emulating their emulators i agree with that for the burning red and supercharger but the rest of their back catalogue is gold in my opinion.

Vocals wise i think you should go listen to proper scremo/emo bullshit then try and say robb flyn sounds like that which he clearly doesnt.

Me too, I used to hang with Adam & Ahrue in the clubs in Concord, Ca & never even knew that song was from them until someone in our circle mentioned it when it played over the stereo between bands at a gig, & then one time it came on when we were all together & one of them kinda cringed when they heard it.
