Sounds cool. I haven't bought a guitar mag. for a while, but maybe I should check out GT.

RIP MIKE

Definitely get the go-ahead from Chris before contacting anyone about an interview.
The guys from Linear Sphere (London prog-metal band... Linear Sphere). They teach at the Guitar Institute and write a lot of articles for the UK magazines.

killerpicker will become famous soon enough
Hey there guys,

Thanks for the nice comments regarding the column over the last months, Distressed - glad you're enjoying the mag, thanks again for the kind words. Interview would be cool, send it through to the linearsphere address and i'll pick it up.
I am finishing this series of articles in 3 months time and i normally take a break of a few months and then resume another series of eight. So if you guys want to suggest any bands not yet covered then i'm up for ideas for the next series!
After King Diamond next month there will be columns on Death and finally Cynic. It has been my pleasure to get these bands into the mag as my own personal favorites, and they are generally under represented in mags.
Bands not yet covered which could be good would be Necrophagist, planet x, Queensryche etc.. The brief is a band that has some sort of commercial success and is known either generally or in a large cult/underground way and has amazing playing!! What would you guys suggest!??
Cheers, peace, Martin

Ha I was going to email you guys to ask if you'd do just a Dino Cazares in Divine Heresy column. But I guess he doesn't have a big enough following now that I think about it.

Thanks for the Fear Factory column.

Welcome to the boards!

Death, Cynic and KD should all be great choices, as should Queensryche, Planet X and Necrophagist. As far as ideas for others go, how about...

Watchtower
Atheist
Fates Warning
Crimson Glory
Aghora
Morbid Angel
Paradise Lost
