I always prefered Marco to Peter too, he was just, more aggressive...and the band sounded more fresh..."Bury your dead" was what got me into melodic death metal

their debut album was one of those albums i hung in the store the day of disc deliveries and waited to pick it up the second it was tagged with a price

the first album (and second) is the only throughout good ones to me. one kill wonder has a few good tracks (crushing sound tho, and "everlasting" is a sole reason to own the disc) and after that its nothing special imo (this is yet another band for the "their old shit is better" thread in my opinion)

after one kill wonder, "99" is the only track they've made that has any magic whatsoever in it for me. dolving has turned out to be a fking idiot lately but he will always hold a special place in my metalhead for his performance on the s/t debut

Eat Shit. Billions of flies can't be wrong.

I own every album and have to say they've definitely been awesome throughout their releases. I've liked them from the first time I heard "Made Me Do It". Bought it, then their first albums and the releases to follow. They're just a great, raw yet melodic metal band. I think they have plenty of things going for them that no other bands really do. Especially lately with "The Dead Eye". Dolving does screaming and some really cool singing stuff. But he isn't singing like a lot of other bands out there today. It just sounds completely different to me ear. Bottom line, they've been killer since day one and always will be

I'm just wondering if this news about a supposed album release on March 30th is true or not.

Dark clouds in your heaven.
Your end has only begun.
You can scream but there's no rescue,
I promise I'll make you sure that you die in time.

pardon miasma is a jewel in the rough
I've noticed that their vocalists seem to have a habit of evolving. Dolving sounds like some sort of weak Araya/Fair mixture on The Haunted, and then is a vocal dynamo on rEVOLVEr and The Dead Eye, and the difference between Marco Aro's Lindberg-esque rasp on Made Me Do It and his ungodly roar on One Kill Wonder (especially "DOA". Jesus Christ.) is astonishing.

The "99" love in this thread warms my soul, because that's definitely one of my favorite songs, and is actually how I warm up. I need to get "No Compromise" clean, because I love that song to death, as well.

B36arin is on a distinguished road
I have all their albums including Live Rounds In Tokyo and their Caught On Tape DVD. I'm a huge fan of their first 3 records, they're all brilliant. My favourite is probably OKW, but the first two are absolutely awesome as well. The solo+backing riff in 99 is one of the most amazing combinations I've ever heard, Jensen and Anders Björler are legends. Revolver was pretty good, but imo The Dead Eye wasn't anything more than decent. Sure, The Stain is a great song, and some of the stuff on the album is great, but as a whole I don't like the album as much as the older ones. It's not horrendous though, just not that brilliant...

Fuck yeah dude!!! I don't think they get the respect that they deserve to be honest. I feel like they get underrated by most.

my favorite album of their's is the hauned made me do it. classic album! OKW is also a pretty good album as well.

i hated both revolver and dead eye. mainly because i don't like dolving at all. marco on vocals completely destroyed it. they should think about getting rid of him...again.
