Is this an AANJ?

Inspired by DD's thread aboout refinishing his guitar, I'm going to rework my cheapo RG220 into something a bit cooler.

I'm shooting for a natural finish, after that new pickups, coil tap, new floater and a new neck.

This, I'm pretty sure is an all access neck joint, yes?

So a neck such as:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...758354759&rd=1

Would fit?

Yes it is. The standard neck joints look like strat neck joints.

Glory and praise to Thee, Satan, on high,
Where Thou didst reign, in Hell where Thou dost lie,
Vanquished, silent, dreaming eternally.
Grant that my soul some day rest close to Thee
Under the Tree of Knowledge which shall spread
Its branches like a Temple overhead.

By Looking at that neck on Ebay in the picture and reading the description you really can't tell if the neck is cut to fit an all access joint. Unless you know something I don't, you migt want to ask the seller how it is cut.......

Yeah it is. If you've seen the ibanez non-aanj joints you'd see it.

I hear you on that. I have both styles on dif guitars myself. What I'm saying is, how can you tell the neck that is selling on ebay will fit, when the picture only shows it from the top?

Ask the seller ? ;p

Just about all of ibanez 25.5" AANJ necks are exchangeable. (Id assume differently of the 22/24 fret necks but still)

EDit:
Easy way to solve problem.
What model body are you trying to attach it to, chris?

He said up top that he is re-doing his RG220.

yeah, the 22's and 24's aren't interchangeable, even though they're both 25.5" scale. Something about causing a rip in the space/time continuum, according to Rich at ibanezrules.com.
