No Soul has a spectacular aura about
screw PRS

after years of writting them off as over priced and all hype I actually sat down and really played one the other day. (custom 22 with a 10 top)

FUCK........... best guitar Ive ever played. The neck was so good, almost too good. It was like a toy. Everything was so much easier to play and took so little effort. My normal technique was nothing short of an overkill for the effort needed to play this guitar.

This guitar has ruined my opinion of plabillity of all other guitars, even my beloved 7620. Its seriously frustrating after the feeling I got from the PRS.

And now I must save up so I can buy one at a ridiculously high price for somebody of my poor college student economic standing

in closing
screw PRS

In fairness, play a J-Custom Ibanez or a pre-01 (was 01 that they made all japanese iby's prestige) prestige before you write them off- PRS's are great, but there are other guitars out there that can match them, too...

Grab a Schecter C1, compare it to the PRS.

IMO it plays almost the same, if not better, and at 1/3 the price.

Glory and praise to Thee, Satan, on high,
Where Thou didst reign, in Hell where Thou dost lie,
Vanquished, silent, dreaming eternally.
Grant that my soul some day rest close to Thee
Under the Tree of Knowledge which shall spread
Its branches like a Temple overhead.

i love jacksons they have good sound and the one i played(cant remember but it was light blue) played better than my rg7420, just because of easy playability(action, good bridge a floyd if i remember correctly not an ibanez knock off

i would anyday, when i go into a guitar store its my mission to hunt out and play the most expensive guitar. it happened to be a prs(5.5k) it had bird fret inlays. i hated it, it sounded like 7 different kinds of monkey anus. i would take the 1000 dollar strat even if i had the money to buy it. and i never played a schector so i cant comment but it cant be anyworse

No Soul has a spectacular aura about
for the record, Ive been playing Ibanez for 10 years, and have owned plenty of em. Of all the ones Ive owned, only one was not a japanese model. So I think that constitutes enough time with them as opposed to saying Im simply "blowing them off"

I knew that posting this here would get a lot of responses of people who prefered superstrat type guitars, which I was hoping would be like a big bottle of pink stuff for this major case of GAS, but unfortunately it didnt work.

To be fair, the only other time Ive wanted a guitar this badly was when I convinced my self that 6strings simply wouldnt do.

Now its just an issue of putting up all my guitars for sale : (
(except my 7 of course)
I already sold my Ibanez Sfm, soon my viper and modulus. And after I sell a kidney, one testicle and my soul I might just have enough to buy a PRS!

ps.
screw PRS

With PRS, all you need to do is pick up the very next one. It will sound like cardboard and play like crap. They are not very consistent. I'd put my JS2000 against a PRS, any day of the week. No joke.
