The guy is like a machine, and he really helped me clean up my technique.

Awesome technique! he must be up there with Cooley and FF speed-wise! Unfortunately his technique is the only thing I like about it. Cool though.

Whenever I see something like that I die a little bit inside lol.. knowing that I'd have to sell everything and live in a cave practicing 15 hours a day for the next 20 years to get that kind of technique.

I don't know if "terrible" is the word I'd use to describe that, but I'd love to see your idea of awesome. The videos aren't titled "Listen to my song", they're titled "Neoclassical shredding", so the music factor is pretty irrelevant.

Scalloped fretboard I noticed.

Yeah, he's really really good. I like his technique. He has sort of a snap to his wrist. Lots of feel to it. I wonder what gauge of strings he uses?
