I always wondered what it was like to be around creativity like this. Do you know you are redefining riffage, or do you just think it's cool and people realize it after the fact?

Actually, its a skull of something evil, pointing its finger out.

Glory and praise to Thee, Satan, on high,
Where Thou didst reign, in Hell where Thou dost lie,
Vanquished, silent, dreaming eternally.
Grant that my soul some day rest close to Thee
Under the Tree of Knowledge which shall spread
Its branches like a Temple overhead.

Mercyful Fate is the best. I like it better than King Diamond, just something about the chemistry.

Best album of the 80's... fuck, that's not easy at all! I will vote for a kind of obvious one, but to me it's crucial:

*btw Ken, the old bassist from Legion (the band) is doing vocals for us now. great name, eh?*

Number of the Beast was the album that changed it all for me. I went from a 15 year old Def Leppard fan to a true metalhead overnight.

While I love that album, it is missing something. Lemme give you a hint:
