I just wanna say, after like fifteen fucking years I JUST realised that that cover art depicts a hand thrusting a skull through flames and NOT some sort of demonic bumblebee

Mercyful Fate is the best. I like it better than King Diamond, just something about the chemistry.

Best album of the 80's... fuck, that's not easy at all! I will vote for a kind of obvious one, but to me it's crucial:

Number of the Beast was the album that changed it all for me. I went from a 15 year old Def Leppard fan to a true metalhead overnight.

Well, if some of you guys think the 80's didnt end until 1992, for my money Rust In Peace pwns everything in this thread.
