They practically started nu-metal, now they're withering away. I guess it would always come to an end but I always expected the original 5 members to break up unanimously.

What?! Maybe if they were some underground band still trying to make it up the chain, but not with the amount of money they are making. They are still playing stadiums if im not mistaken, so that means they are making mad bling *spinning valvestems on spinning rims*

Why don't they just give it up already. Granted neither Head or Munky were never the best guitarists 'technically' to grace this earth, but they were still what made Korn, Korn. With some half-baked replacements it won't be the same.

I saw them last 2 years ago now at Download Festival and they were bloody awful. And most people in the crowd around me felt the same way too. They just didn't have the mojo that they had back in the day.

Shane Gibson. He started off with Jon's Alone I Play tour and now is joining Korn for the time being i believe. He's way more technical than Head or Munky so it brings something new to the table. Should be cool.

Shane's hardly a "half-baked replacement", he's a better player than both of them. I know that bashing Korn is the in thing to do, but do try and know what you're talking about.

^ Shane is awesome, and its great for him.

Unfortunately, a good band is more than the individuals... it's the sum of the members. That almost indefinable "chemistry." Who know how that chemistry will be affected with all this change?

Still. They were/are a band in need of change, so I guess we'll see. But Shane Gibson half-baked? Whoa. Never.

Shane is not half-baked, but, what people is expecting, I guess (anyway, that´s what I´m expecting) is the chemistry beyond him and Munky to happen.

Munky writes some sick riffs, he doesn´t need to be the earth´s best guitarrist to begin with, he created a new sound, and that´s what matters to me.

About Shane, it is a good thing that he is joining the band, but I really hope Munky isn´t leaving the band, because I look forward to hear his riffs and Shane´s ideas together.

I guess that´s what makes people worried, not the actual replacements, but the way the train is wrecking.
