The cool thing about Jerry Cantrell is that besides writing and playing some incredibly good shit he also has a killer voice and his solo work is just as good as Alice in Chains (at least in my book).

My Song is one of the best songs I´ve ever heard. Absolutely great stuff.

I personally think they should have had the balls to come up with a new name.

While I love Jerry, AIC was a combination of a killer guitarist and an almost-dead junkie. When that almost-dead junkie became a dead junkie, I think the name should have went with him. I don't care that Jerry wrote 90% of the songs, and I would have thought the same if Jerry had died instead of Layne.

Despite that, I think the songs will be awesome
