I'm sure he'll nail everything note for note and with good energy.
I hope Mustaine let's him add some of his own "flavor" to the band though.

I was really hoping I'd get to see Loomis/Broderick on stage together.

Chris was never offered a slot in Nevermore, he said as much on his forums when he said he just showed up to play for them when he was told to and knew nothing about becoming a member of the band.

Awesome! Hopefully Megadeth will bring Gigantour to Australia again this year and Chris will be playing with them!

Great news for Chris, as he definitely deserves a bigger stage to play on.

It'd be awesome to really contribute to the band musically, as he'd add tons of different flavours to Mustaine's songwriting...however, given the 'Deth's current MO, I suspect he'll end up just playing karaoke versions of the classics.

Anyone see him playing the "Sleepwalker" solo on his 7 string? He played the rhythm part afterwards on the 5th fret of the B string instead of playing on the E.

He also looked bored playing it. But then again, after having to play Loomis' stuff, I would be too.

B or E, anytime i see broderick im just mesmerized by his right-hand technique. i hate him.

anyway, i also think he deserves more space, but im no fan of neither non-rust-in-peace-megadeth, nor nevermore, so while this isn't supernews for me personally, this opens up a chance for a fantastic guitarist to get more noticed, wich might lead to more future Broderick ownage. well-deserved for him

Im hoping we get another RIP quality album with Chris in the band. I also agree, watching him wail on Marty's parts in Holy Wars will give me a chubby if nothing else.
