Oh, I understand perfectly. Never said I didn't get it; just that I hate hearing and seeing them all over the place along with the hundred other bands that sound or look like them.

I can partially agree with that. I have listened to a bit of their newer stuff, but it's almost like a complete different band. Yesterday I just started playing some songs off of Waking The Fallen, (Chapter Four, Unholy Confessions, Remenissions) and then tried some of their later stuff ... and it just wasn't the same. I know the main difference is the vocals, but even the music feels different with the later stuff. Oh well, whatever. They're playing their shit and getting paid to do it, so I guess they figured something out.

Personally I love them. I love the dual guitar harmonies all over the place, and I like the singer's voice. Not so much the 'whiney'-ness of it, but rather the tone of it. Its something different.

I like their music a lot.
Matt (vocals) is a top singer. This throat surgery was a big problem, but on WTF you have true metal vocals, and why not, true metal music.

Their cover of Pantera's 'Walk' is cooler than the original in my opinion:

There are more than one cover videos, and I'm speakerless right now, so I don't know if I picked the one I liked that much...
but Matt's vocals were cooler at least. And the cover was pretty much flawless, specially for a live thing.

Okay, I just listened to it once again. I take back what I said.hehe. The original is hotter.

But the cover is still all right nonetheless.
