Sounds good to me. Then again, I never liked Tarja.

Nightwish kicked ass live when I saw them a few months ago.

Maybe, I hope she's good singer, but this day had to be one of the worst One again this is another thing that let me think about Nightwish now.

She needs to work much to be able to sing Tarja's songs, because Tarja has different kind of voice. And I'm not sure if she will ever be able to sign that songs correct.

In my opinion Tarja's voice and style suits the old songs a lot better.

Definitely some out of tune stuff there. But if she had been in tune it would have sounded just fine to me. I like her voice, personally. I'm willing to bet this was a case of monitoring issues (either couldn't hear herself, or heard herself too loud, as that causes you to sing out of tune).

I wonder if she can hear herself properly, this type of thing is common when a singer can't hear themselves. Listen to a cd through a set of headphones and record yourself singing to it and you will see what I mean.

EDIT: I did not read Aarons post but yes my money is on that she could not hear herself and I agree, I like her voice.

Her voice is nice, even when I don't like Nightwish now, but her voice is much to weak to sing old songs, that's the clue
I understand her possible problems with monitoring and being out of tune ...
... try don't look at this problems, hear only voice...
... and then her voice is still week as hell

I thought about monitoring issues, too, but I still think she was having some voice problems because she had a lot more problem hitting the high notes in "Nemo" here compared to a few months ago when I saw them. For all we know, she had a cold or flu. Also, she's never done a long tour before, so it could be that the strain is building on her voice.
