Thumbs up So I picked Damnation from Opeth yesterday...

...And I'm loving it! It's sure on of the best albums I've ever owned. I now own Damnation, Ghost Reveries, Blackwater Park and Deliverance. I'm gonna buy the new Live album and the older Live DVD next. All Hail Mikael Åkerfeldt!

Awesome, may favorite band by far, always will be i think. Steven Wilson worked with Opeth for Blackwater Park, Damnation and Deliverance...so praises to him aswell

You won't find a band too similar to Opeth, they are unique in my view. They are masters at combining styles. Certain bands such as Agalloch and Insomnium have elements of Opeth in their music though.
