Another new respect for Korn

Every time I come back to listen to Korn for old time sake I'm a little older, my musical tastes have expanded 10 times, and the way I listen to music is different.

I'm listening to Life Is Peachy again for the first time in a very long while and I have a completely different appreciation for it.

That's all I've got to say.

when i first started getting really into guitar i was friends with kids her were into more indie and alternative stuff so i totally disowned my hard rock/metal/nu-metal roots. Now i've been playing for years and in the last two years i've gotten back to a lot of the bands i used to listen to back in the day. It's how Wes Borland came to one of my favorite guitar players. Everything is just like totally new and eye-opening. I felt that way about like all that stuff. I don't just listen to it.. i GET it.

I'm listening back to Mudvayne now to while I'm at it. (I got newest version of Media Monkey, so I'm currently going through and adding album artwork for all these albums, that's why I'm "stumbling" back on all this stuff"

I went back and listened to 'The end of all things to come' a little bit ago. Man I think that's such an awesome album.

I've also always loved Wes Borland. He was my inspiration for awhile back in the day. I can't say I dig the black light burns stuff too much though.

i agree. when it first came out it wasn't as straight up heavy as the first album, and i kinda wrote it off for a long time. now when i listen to it i appreciate all the experimenting they did with effects and recordin techniques on the album

Yeah, I like listening to their older albums too. Especially the first 3. Issues is alright every now and then too. When I saw them for the first time back in April of 1997, I was a huge fan, they put on a great show. I slowly lost interest in them after Issues came out. I do like Take A Look In The Mirror though, it's an alright album I guess.
