Shooter has a spectacular aura about
They've been one of my favorite bands for a long time, and I'm always surprised by how deep and musical their songs are, even though they're pretty much just simple riffs. I'm kinda envious of bands that can just play a riff... I have a tendency to overcomplicate my stuff... can you say 5 guitar parts, string arrangements, and keyboards all going on at the same time (with the drums and bass thumping along, of course)?

If you're out there and you're cute, maybe you're beautiful, I just wanna tell you something... there's more of us ugly m*ther f*ckers then you are.

LIP is a great cd. I listen to heaps still. I don't listen to korn as much as i used too, but i still love their music, old and new. They'll always hold a place in my heart lol. I am pumped to see what they do next, apparently they got 8 songs done already for it or some shit...whether thats recorded or ready to to be recorded, i dunno! lol

amonb has disabled reputation
I too listened to LIP recently and was stunned at how muffled and badly produced it sounded. I didn't remember it sounding that bad. The songs are cool tho and Jon still yelled a lot.

Issues is my fave of theirs tho. Soooo angry. Even when getting head

lucasreis is a jewel in the rough
I gotta say I really love that werid tone, the way it sounds bad produced and stuff, and the way jon yelled. That band was young, they had an aggressive style and they kinda lost it through time, even though I still love their sound, they´ll never be as aggressive as Life is Peachy or the first record, and the good production they have since Follow the Leader made them sound more accessible too.

I hope so too

You gotta love how Korn's new guitarist posts in the thread and no acknowledges the fact.

i always thought korn and limp bizket and all them were a joke, when i started playing guitar i was into slayer, morbid angel, ect. and frankly, korn sucks skill wise. but looking back korn had it going on creatively. bizket still sucks no matter which way you spin it, but iv come to appreicate creative stills more and more and not just the technical aspects

Korn and LIP = amazing.

FTL = not bad, moving towards sub parness

Issues - LOVED it as well

the rest = all right...the last two new CDs i haven't even purchased because Head really did bring the side of Korn out that I liked.

I hope their new shit is good because I only listen to three of their CDs now

Ramen!
