Didn't Tony Choy play in Cynic as well as Atheist at some point? Great bassist...

Yeah, he was the bassist for Cynic before Sean Malone, and played on the second and third Atheist discs.

Tony was also in Pestilence, hence the connection. I'm still not sure why Pat thought that gangsta-style lyrics and shouted vox would be a good combo with the music he had, but, whatever...

I haven't heard hardcore played before with such.... precision. Makes the band more interesting. They stand out in that genre because of it. To me anyways.
