![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Eh, that's not half bad really. It's pretty heavily influenced by nu-metal for something this day in age, but I don't really think it's in the area of rap metal. Its a lot better than Corp. 187, but still nothing i'd really want to listen to on a regular basis. ![]() | C-187 is fairly decent...Mameli is quite the guitarist. Some of the lyrics and themes on the album are a bit cliched but I can't fault the playing, especially when you've got Tony Choy and Sean Reinert in there. Thankfully Patrick abandoned the rapping style from the pre-production songs...only to keep the lyrics it seems. The demo tracks were removed from a Polish Pestilence fansite. Edit: No copyright violations here, please. Do it again and you're gone. The Toazted interview is bizarre...Blue Label this, Blue Label that... ![]() |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | The main issue for me is not the music, which is totally not my thing but not particularly bad for what it is, but the fact that Sean Reinert and Tony Choy got together and this was the result. Pretty much anyone could write this stuff, and I wish it was pretty much anyone but them that did. Oh well. |

![]() ![]() | As far as A.C (after Cynic) releases go, the only thing I've really been impressed with and think is worth listening to on a regular basis has been Paul M's Aeon Spoke, a very far throw from the metal arena, but at least it feels like he is still searching for something that inspires him. ...and I know, Ahgora isn't bad either, but their dynamic wears thin, fast. As for this C-187 business... it sounds like Hatebreed with some nu-metal bling thrown in and tighter arrangements, which pretty much makes me want to sex my ears with cinderblocks ![]() _TJK* |
