Man can you imagine Holdsworth with a 7 string? Talk about taking chord voicings to a new level.

Holdsworth would be pretty cool.

I'd like to see Meshuggah go BACK to 7s. It seems they've stagnated since getting their 8s. Their 7-string work is just CRUSHING!

Ron Jarzombek (Watchtower/Spastic Ink) would be a great candidate. Although, when he needs a Low B, he prefers his custom doubleneck (1 neck in E, the other in B).

Seconded! However, many parts on "Nothing" were very good in a fresh, new way. The solo on "stengah" is the best Meshuggah solo up to date.
