New In Flames Album!!!

Hey everyone, just got done listenin to the new In Flames album(Come Clarity). It's soo dam awesome. It's not as heavy as previous albums and it's really catchy and melodic but not soft by any means.. IMO this album destroys Soundtrack to Your Escape. i suggest all In Flames fans check this out with an open mind.

Just finished listening to it...didn't like it much...i guess i'll give it another listen or two...it takes time to get into some albums...

...the second half of the album is much better IMO.

I haven't liked anything after Jester Race and Whoracle, does this one shy away from their nu-metal sound from their last few albums?

I still don't know the definition of nu metal but all i know is that this album is fast and heavy throughout the whole thing and there wasn't much electronics. Almost all the songs have really catchy choruses but the songs themselves are nowhere near mainstream. It's heavier than STYE IMO. Much better album

Bah, boo to all of you "purists" who call the last few albums Nu-Metal at all. If you think STYE sounds anything like, say, Linkin Park, you need to get your ears checked.

Anyhow, I picked this up today and am liking it so far. The drumming isn't as brilliant as it usually is (it's still great, but I have high standards for this guy ), but it's damn good. I have no idea who Lisa Miskovsky is, but her singing on Dead End is ultimate.

Agree, it definitely picks up halfway through. I'm not a fan of Take This Life at all.

The only thing I don't like that much is the production.

I've really liked every inflames album except for STYE. It was good, but it just didn't sound like an In Flames album to me.

This is total throwback to R2R, and I love it! Anders is actually singing melodically now!

i think this album is really good, i really enjoyed it on the very first listen... its lightyears better than the garbage that is the new children of bodom album.
