God damn, I fuckin' LOVE this album.

Everyone just in top form, and imo the best album Chuck Billy ever did. This video's a little cornball, so just turn the sound up and minimize the window.

Is The Ritual the slow, dark, grinding one they did with the pentagram on the cover?

If so, then yeah, I've dug the shit out of what I've heard.

+1 to that. "Return To Serenity" is one of the most kickass metal ballads ever. I've never got around to checking out much else of their stuff, but this cd has been a firm favourite of mine since it's release. I always felt that they out-Metallica-ed Metallica with this.

Yeah. Practice is my favorite Testament album, though. Every song on it is classic. It's one of those "why I play guitar today" albums foe me - The Ballad was the first "acoustic" song that I ever learned.

So much so. Every time I listen to it (which has been all day today

) I'm super impressed with Billy's sense of vocal melody on it. He's just all over the place with awesome sounding, oddly-timed lyrics. I love it.
