For the last 30 minutes I've been sitting trying to learn how to use my other fingers of the right hand in my playing... Took me a couple of minutes but I'm already starting to get a hang of it. I wont be able to do it fast in a long while, though, cause this is REALLY hard...

Brett is one of the most amazing players I've ever seen. Fluid is an understatement.

Any time I ever start to think my playing is at a level
where I want it to be, I just watch one of these videos
and I'm quickly reminded just how much I suck.

Yeah what a fantastic player!

First time I heard him was on the new planet x album, and I was completely blown away!!

I've recently ordered his solo cd from guitar9 hopefuly it should be here any day!

Big Sky? That's one of the rare guitar albums that every music fan can enjoy...

Stuff he plays in that video is from one of the Garsed/Helmerich albums. I can't remember which one - they're all good

I've been to a couple of his ESP clinics and witnessed his playing up close, just awesome. He's a really sociable guy too and didn't mind going ito depth about his playing and his gear. For a while he played with probably Australia's biggest ever popstar, so it's cool that he had such a top-class gig as well, he deserves it
