I got kicked out of a band once when I was younger not "being good enough". At the time they were right. Today I'm still playing and leagues beyond any of them. Some of those guys don't even play anymore. It just goes to show ya that you can't tell what might happen latter on. I'm sure you'll continue to get better and I bet your next project will be much better. At the very least I hope it is much more fun for you.
