He is the guitarist of Soulfly and now has out a Solo album (it's been out since aug actually)...i picked it up yesterday and wow, that's all i can say. He is amazing and soulfly and ill nino (old band) did not allow him to expand. Here is a link to his record label's myspace account. Check it out...it's really neat. The whole CD has a lot of jazz and latino influence with some amazing classical guitar as well. Though it's not seven string, it's still very worthy.

Couple of my friends bands do shows with Mark's side project Committee of 13... One Brick Down (me and brian go back a ways). My band is even starting do do shows with bands on his "label." It's fun to watch mark play though, he never fucks up his leads, and watching his fingers is very amuzing, if you can follow them!

haha thats insane. the number of guitar players in bands who dont show their abilities until solo albums keeps amazing me.

Marc is an insane guitar player. Probably one of the most underrated guitar players out there.

Under rated? No. No one can deney his talent. The problem is he's in a band with Max, who takes the credit for everything. If marc was smart, he'd dump committee and soulfly, and start a new band altogether.
