The Mark of a Great Mix...

...is it'll even sound absolutely kickass on an iPod with the stock Apple in-ear buds.

I've got Porcupine Tree's "In Absentia" going here as I type this, and it sounds so fucking lush I could die. If my own work sounded this good on a pair of high end stereo speakers, I'd be happy.

Just wait until you hear "In Absentia" on an extremely high end system. You'll probably start crying Someday I'm going to bring it (and Deadwing, and a bunch of other CDs) to work and listen to it (them) on this system:

There was this high-end audio shop across the street from me in Waltham. I went in there looking for an adaptor for something once, which they didn't have (but referred me to a pretty cool hobbyist audio shop that did). I ended up chatting with a guy there for a while, and he told me to drop by sometime with a few CD's if I ever just felt like hearing them on one of their systems, just for the hell of it.

I'm kind of glad I didn't, lol, because I'd still be in credit debt, most likely.

How do you think I feel, I work in a high-end audio shop I get to dust $25,000 pairs of speakers, and set them up for other people to hear I wish I could afford to bring them home with me Or at least the $5,000 smaller version (also incredible).

My school were stupid enough to bring a high end projector to camp for us to watch movies on (not 300k, but expensive enough to get ya a few alembics anyway). Great image, real hi-def. Unfortunately the sound system sucked so everyone just went to the beach and played in the sand rather than wath POTC for the umpteenth time.

holy fuck!
