Almost finished with it:

Light Discovery sucks...but the rest of the CD is !! It has a few melodic choruses, and you can tell they have some american influences now; but the album is solid and there are seriously some brutal-ass riffs on this bitch.

can't wait to buy my copy!!

not as ambient as Predator's, but they are definitely delving into their earlier roots

I prefer STD as of yet but I'll keep listening to it. Hopefully it'll grow on me.

Or Canadian influences... didn't Devin Townsend have his hand in the production again?

SirToastalot is a jewel in the rough
Devin handled vocal production, Bjorn went over to Vancouver to record in Mr. Townsend's studio.
Everything else was done in Darkane's 'Not Quite Studio'. Apparently it doesn't exist anymore thanks to flooding.

I've ordered the limited edition of the new album, hopefully the postal strike will have ended around delivery time.

Gotta admit, after a few listens I prefer this CD WAY more than STD.

It's just nice and raw

Wow - this sounds WAY better than I thought I would hear. I swear I can hear Devin on "The Pittsburg" during the chorus screaming part. Great sounding album!!
