Found this on Youtube and was really surprised how well the song (my fave APC tune) translated to the ivories.

It is an amazing tune. Nice find. There are some good acoustic versions on YouTube as well.

The dude does a lot of Tool/APC stuff on piano and does some interesting Incubus covers too. Some of his arrangements can be a little standrad (But I mean...its Incubus

) but he has a pretty strong voice and I can't play piano worth a damn

Of course this is the best live version (I think everyone has seen it) with the original line-up plus Danny Lohner of NIN, Puscifer etc on bass. When Maynard rips into the "You don't see me" bit it NEVER fails to shoot a chill up my spine.

Its funny that the best live version of anything comes from a late night talk show. The bassist for my band is the bass tech for traa from pod (among other things revolving around pod and blindside), and he was telling me how when they were on letterman and conan, the live sound was horrible. I guess they dont let anyone behind the board other than their sound people (the shows sound people). *off topic*

And that is definitely a solid song. Apc and tool will be considered the doors/rollings stones of our generation.

Never seen that Leno performance before. I'd say they pretty much nailed the song. Hopefully we'll see APC together again. I'm longing for a new album.
