Anyone else dig this song? 3 out of 4 Beatles hated it.... but I'm with The Walrus. One of my favs.

I love this tune! One of my favorites as a kid (i.e. elementary school) although it's been a while since I've listened to it. "Rocky Raccoon" was another great one-- maybe on the same album? I haven't listened to those songs in ages. The Beatles had a huge influence on me....

That's the thing I like the most about the Beatles, so many of their songs had really creepy lyrics.

This is such a great song! Definitely one of my favorites.
I remember watching that flash film in school one day and my teacher came up to me and asked me what the hell I was doing. Then she heard what song it was and asked me to turn it up. The whole class just stopped while we watched the video on a big screen.

It was a great day

exactly ... on one level, the song seems like a silly, fun little ditty, but the lyrics have a whole other dimension ... The Beatles were masters at getting to you that way ......
