If I could see pics of that bass, I'd probably be totally GASing for it, and it'd actually be worth the price he's asking. That's the first reasonable thing he's done in a while.

Yeah, even the most accomplished musicians who do give lessons rarely charge more than 50$. You can get lessons from University grade music teachers for around 30$/hr.

I'd be willing to pay a guy like Chris Broderick or Michael Romeo for lessons, but there's no way in hell i'd pay 100$ for an hour with a guy who cant tell me the difference between a 16th and an 8th note.

Lessons from Rusty fucking Cooley are only $30. If I'm going to be paying $100 to learn rhythm playing from someone it better damn well be Frederik Thordendal or Mårten Hagström.
