Try your local screenprinting shop. We have a friend here in town that owns a screenprinting business. He gives good deals too.

Be VERY careful with what kinda cloth you use. If you look at my gear link, you'll see a Fear Factory logo on my Marshall 8412 cab. While it looks good, there was definately a setback. We sprayed the grille with spray-glue, but it didn't hold completely, so now when I turn it up high, the fabric will flap on the grille, and it doesn't sound good (sounds like it's farting out). Use a very porus fabric (like the one I used for my Mesa cab).

Screen printing will be expensive for a one-off item like a speaker grille. You're better off going to a sign shop and having them cut you a vinyl template that you can use as a mask, then just spray paint it on.

I worked in a sign shop back in '95-'96. Costly. At least here. Even as an employee, a vinyl cut logo depending on the size was not cheap especially for high performance vinyl. Maybe it's cheaper elsewhere though.

You're probably better off making a whole new grille. Adding another layer of grille cloth might diminish the "acoustically transparent" nature of the manufacturer-supplied grille.

you'll want to get something VERY porous and very sturdy... like the stock grill covering

they make them like that for a reason.

I have a radical idea. The door swings both ways,
we could reverse the particle flow through the gate.
We'll cross the streams.
