Guess nobody else went to this... shame as it was an amazing show, and they did more of their older material than I've ever seen them do live before, including 5 songs from Rage for Order and 2 from The Warning. Geoff Tate definitely still has the vocal range he used to, which surprised me.

They've apparently got an album of covers coming out in November. They did Pink Floyd's Welcome to the Machine and The Police's Synchronicity 2 live. Absolutely fantastic. I had no idea Geoff Tate could play Sax

It was good to see that Mike Stone can actually handle all of the harmony guitar parts. The last time I saw them was quite a few years ago with Kelly Gray and he was definitely not up to the task.

The only down side to the show was that the sound man didn't do the greatest job as he really boosted the bass and the treble so things got a bit piercing/muddy here and there during the performance.

Set List:

The Whisper
Damaged
Speak
I’m American
NM 156
Screaming In Digital
Bridge
Until There Was You
Neue Regel
Surgical Strike
Hostage
The Hands
Another Rainy Night (Without You)
Jet City Woman
The Needle Lies
Empire

Welcome To The Machine (Pink Floyd)
Synchronicity 2 (The Police)
Silent Lucidity
Walk In The Shadows
Take Hold of the Flame

nice! i saw QR in Cincy in the summer of '03 with Fates Warning and Dream Theater. at the end of the show, QR came out to join DT for three encores; one QR song, one DT song, and Won't Get Fooled Again.

I have a radical idea. The door swings both ways,
we could reverse the particle flow through the gate.
We'll cross the streams.

Nice. I'd love to see them, I wish they came around here.

Looks like a pretty cool setlist and sounds like it was a good show.

Hell if I had known that I would have payed more attention, and said hi after your set

Overall you guys seemed cool, we got there about 1/2 way through your set (2+ hour drive + traffic from something going on in the stadium + having to find a gas station once we were in Cleveland). I liked it, your singer is cool and musically you guys are tight. My only complaint with what I heard would be that NIN cover... it was good, but Something I Can Never Have is reallly about being tormented and the version you guys did seemed more up-tempo which was just weird

Ohhhh... that's a good point on the NIN cover. Although, I think we chose to make it more up tempo to pull it off as a rock band. But your point is very valid.
