pretty decent otherwise. So far, the Canon in D Clip is the best thing he's done. \m/

And even then, his phrasing was a bit weak on the slower stuff.

That's the thing that kills me about closet shredders - they can burn like nobody's business, but the thing that seperates the true pros from the posers, IMO, is the ability to phrase a slower line, and the kid's touch just isn't that great.

He also looks at least 18, possibly older. I think the fact he's asian is throwing a lot of people for a loop, age-wise...

Well thats the thing, i don't exactly FEEL THE BURN here. He's not bad, i'm only assuming he's been playing for a couple of years and for a couple of years, thats pretty good. Its cool that he digs PG, but still. i'm not "Wow, thats pretty damn cool!" Like i was on the Canon vid. Maybe these are older?

I guess it's just me, and maybe I need new contact lenses, but if you hadn't told me that this is the same kid that was playing the red strat in that other video, I would've never known it. But as far as this guy goes, his website says he was born in '79, which would make him 26 now. I looked through his page of videos... but didn't see that "Canon Rock" video. Hmmm...

He's impressive as hell, and God knows he's oozin' talent, but I gotta say I was a smidgen disappointed at his "Hotel California" solo... Kinda like Drew said, the slower/easier stuff sounded like it was missing just a bit with timing, feel, etc...

In my "opinion", what seperates the pros from the "posers" is a paycheck. =)

This guy is pretty good, but he's also rather sloppy.

I don't think it's the same guy from the Canon vid; based on facial features, posture while playing, and syle.
