Any Red Chord fans here?

Just listening to the new album 'Prey for Eyes'

Free track from album Send the Death Storm

I'm digging Gunface's playing and composition, soo many sweet changes & breakdowns.

Love those random squeals too

Any TRC fans here?

If so

Has anyone done any tabbing?

Yeah me too, though last time I mentioned them on here I was laughed at. I think they're awesome though. Haven't heard the new album yet. Haven't seen any tabs for them either.

Jetzt liegst du hier, ganz regungslos, in meiner hand und meinem schoß, du bist so kalt...

I'm a fan. I love the first 2 albums, esp. Clients. Brutal, technical, groovy, fun to play. That album reminds me a lot of the old Florida band, Solstice! I am a little disappointed in the new one though.

Sorry I don't have any tabs, thanks for letting me know about these Venetian Snares guys. They're really awesome so far.

Yep there's more than a few folks here whose musical boundaries seem to have stopped expanding

the way i see it is, if music really is a trip why go to the same place every time?

I'm digging TRC cos of the mega amount of changes & breakdowns, the great sense of uncertainty it creates in the listener..

Yeah I love tech bands like that - ion dissonance, dillinger, the red chord, I love it because no matter how many times I listen to it I always find something new and awesome.

TR00F

i loved clients, and i doubt they will be able to top that album. it was so dynamic and genius in many ways.

"There is no question that many people do good things in the name of their faith - but there are better reasons to help the poor, feed the hungry and defend the weak than the belief that an Imaginary Friend wants you to do it. Compassion is deeper than religion. As is ecstasy. It is time that we acknowledge that human beings can be profoundly ethical - and even spiritual - without pretending to know things they do not know."

All I have is Prey For Eyes but even still I'm not sure what to make of it. I think I like it and I just tell myself I don't, kind of like what I do with Stormlord. Whether or not I like it, i's still good stuff.

You've got to tame the devil and make it yours.
