yeah, that "inside the string picking" thing... once you nail that your playing improves 100000%

Its a good DVD, although I personally learned more from his 'wild stringdom' book. Every time you read it you can learn something new, and he goes into a lot more depth into his techniques and voicings, and how to implement them into music.

Although its worth buying rock discipline just for the TOONNNEEE!!!

I recommend Guthrie Govan's Creative Guitar 1&2. (they cover a lot more than most guitar books)

. Rock Discipline has some nice exercises (and even those are covered much better in other books) but at the end of the day it's more like a brochure than a real book

It's really really really good. Its also got a cool foreward piece about motivation/long term goals which is very inspiring to read.

Best video ever. This video was my holy grail for the longest time. Wild Stringdom is essential if you like his playing, too. Although it's hard to top how inspirational RD is, imo.
I have it on DVD now 'cause I wore the video out hehe. But the shower scene in the bonus bit is a little disturbing lol
