<BACK ON TOPIC> Rock Discipline is definantly one of those that seems to take YOUR WHOLE FU*(ING LIFE to really master! I've spent a better part of a YEAR on some parts. That string skipping knows how to make me cry like a little girle-man! Lately I'm working on the long legato exercises...hmmm mmm mmm goodness

Best of luck on it all Chris... TIP: Advisable to make a back up copy, as it's only a matter of time before frustrations send the DVD flying out the bloody window!

Here it is...freakin' Example #6! Funny thing is, is I can do it super easy fingerstyle, but with alt picking it ruins me at any moderate & > speed! I keep screwing up the D/G strung notes! I handle #4 ok, and even #5 decently...but still screw-up #5 occasionally.

The areas of that vid that have helped me out the most is the scale fragment section... I praise the day I began working on that!

Haha, I bow to anyone that can do that at a fast tempo. I suck at doing 1nps skips..it has always been really awkward for me.

I have trouble even doing all the warmup exercises for "Rock Discipline."

When I first tried it out, I was like, "Wow, if the warmups are this hard, how hard is the rest of the video?"

Too hard. I generally try it out for a few days, give up, then try it out again a few months later. It really seems to improve your technique, though.
