Just discovered a GREAT video of the two blokes from Sikth rocking out. It is good shit - I had no idea how much these guys tapped. Time to practice! Yes!

im pretty sure the blackmachine 8s are around 8k in USD probably closer to 7 though

These guys have always been awesome.I had the honour of being in their rehearsal when they were writing the material for their first album back in 2001, and even then they were reminiscing about the 'old days' together in thrash bands. They seem to have a partnership in what they do which comes from having learned to play together.

The stuff that doesn't make sense in this video makes a lot more sense when you hear it in the full context of the song from beginning to end, with vocals as well. They kind of use the more obscure stuff as a lighter dynamic to then come back to more 'solid' unison riffs.

These are all extracts from actual songs. The first few are all from 'Death of a Dead Day', and the last two are from 'The Trees are Dead and Dried Out Wait for Something Wild'. To say that it doesn't make sense is a little unfair considering you are hearing it without any real context. I would suggest buying their albums
