Just picked up Divine Heresy's Bleed The Fifth

And all I gotta say is... fucking brutal!!

This is some crazy shit. Not what I'm used to listening to, but I could get into this. Their drummer makes Ray Herrera's stamina come into question (although I have to say Ray's feet are more creative with his patterns). Sick shit for sure.

My only disappointment is that I'm not hearing much low B (A or whatever) work throughout the songs. Most of the roots of the songs are not based off the lower registers, but rather it has a lot of death-metal style speed picking of higher notes. I'm not knocking it, I'm just saying it's a bit different that what I expected from Dino.

Gonna have to give this quite a few more spins to let it all sink in. I'm definately digging the vocalist.
