Ugh, I can't stand Lori. Her playing is just so un-melodic. When you hear the actual music she plays with the band, the solos are just like "Wtf?" because they don't fit at all and seem like she's just playing random crap. Not to mention I really think she pretends she knows theory. And I can't stand people who do all the vibrato with the whammy bar, it sounds so fake and so 80's.

Now Kaki King, that girl can play. She lost me for a little bit because some of her stuff was getting bland and sounded like the same cliche acoustic tapping stuff you hear everywhere but I'm a fan of her.

I like Lori's playing, but I'd like to see her play a fixed bridge guitar and see if she has any "natural" vibrato in her left hand at all.
she really shakes the shit out of her whammy bars

That is just so wrong. How anyone can find her solos 'random' and 'un-melodic' is beyond me. I find her playing very refreshing and inspiring.
