What other music do you like besides metal?

Me, i'm a sucker for 60's classic rock/motown to 80's pop/rock/thrash metal to death metal and I even like oldschool rap. I just like alot of different styles of music.

Only thing for me is country music. I like country rock however. It would take a whole page to list every single artist/band out there that I like from the early 60's to now.

I find myself listening to the oldies station alot but then I also listen to Suffocation too so, yeah, I like it all.

How about you all?

Goth Rock (Some of it from what I've heard so far), techno/trance(That shit is just fuckin cool sometimes), Industrial (sames with goth rock, from what I've heard I like a lot of the stuff...hate ministry though...), DOOM!(god that shit is the best!), grunge...

I gotta say Blues, and Jazzy stuff too sometimes. But for me, Blues is right up there with metal for my tastes. Stevie Ray Vaughan, BB King, Buddy Guy, Albert King, Eric Clapton, all those guys.

I'm really into Dance/Trance stuff as well, I have always dug the overal sounds of both genres. Just the sheer speed and timings of some of the beats is amazing.

I like all the old classic 60's and 70's popular music as well like The Beatles, The Rolling Stones. As well as all of the old Motown stuff like Marvin Gaye.

I love a LOT of music styles beside metal... Even if metal is my fav.
Imo, having an open-mind in music (and all arts in general) is a big plus for the "spirit".

So, at large, i like :

- Industrial
- Rock'n'roll (read Elvis Presley)
- Hip hop
- Old school hard rock
- Jazz / Gypsy jazz / Vocal jazz / Blues
- Swing
- Electronica
- Flamenco
- Some rare good pop artists
- La chanson française
