mostly jazz (fusion, bop, swing, bossa nova etc.) but also pleanty of rock, progressive rock, and even some blues (which i used to find boring). Really nothing is totally off limits for me musically

The entire gamut of rock from the Beatles to Meshuggah (although I only started listening to rock music newer than say, Queen, two years ago), classical, and rap (not much you'd hear on the radio though).

Basically, if I like it, I'll listen to it. It annoys me when people only listen to one kind of music. IMO good music is good music, genre is unimportant.

Techno, Trance, Rave, Drum&bass, etc (There was period that I stopped listening to metal in the mids 90's)
Classical
Jpop
Some instrumental rock/shred stuff(I don't consider Satch and Vai metal)

80's pop is good for a laugh, but I don't think I could stand a lot of it anymore. Modern pop is just as bad, but it doesn't have the endearing cheese factor.

I can stand some blues and jazz, but I wouldn't go out and buy it. I don't like SRV or Hendrix much, but I do like old Santana.

There's just too much shit to listen to.

I like some electronic stuff, lots of really mellow acoustic stuff, and experimental rock (which I'd put everything from Sigur Ros to Radiohead to Porcupine Tree in).

I like really weird music, and I also like really simple, straightforward, but well written/produced/performed music.

most everything every now and then, minus gangsta rap and new-age country.

I have a radical idea. The door swings both ways,
we could reverse the particle flow through the gate.
We'll cross the streams.
