![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | One of the greatest commercials EVER. I can't help thinking, that this has actually happened to Les more than once. "We are not going to do a free-form jazz exploration in front of a festival crowd!" |

I know quite a few guys that it surprised the shit out of, because they didn't know Les Paul was actually a man. ![]() Noodles Division: American Metal without the suck. sales@kxkguitars.com "Somewhere along the way, the Straight Talk Express lost some wheels..." --Barack Obama on John McCain |

![]() | Les Paul still gigs on Monday nights. For quite some time he performed in a real nice club where you could see great jazz acts like Freddie Hubbard, etc. and it was conveniently (for the slow-paced jerseyans) located in a lowkey suburb in North Jersey, but I checked a bit ago and now he's doing every Monday at Iridium on Broadway in NYC. He really can't be slowing down if that's the case! Him and I bet Ed Cassidy (jazz drummer whos like 80something also from the band Spirit with his stepson Randy California) are the oldest gigging musicians on their instruments. They should probly play together. Not meant to overshadow the Les Paul commercial, but this commercial however, made me shit my pants laughing while I was watching a Bob Moog documentary yesterday: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L3QBcrliFNk they took our jyawbs ![]() |
