Whose heard it?

Just got it in the mail yesterday. It is bad ass. I went ahead and ordered the UK version because i couldn't wait for the US release, and also, the UK version has two covers and comes in a bad ass super jewel case. The two covers included are Morbid Angel's Chapel Of Ghouls & Death's Leprosy.

I think its at least on par with Words that Go unspoken... and both are the best things Akercocke has ever done.

I was temped to pick it up while in town yesterday, but I didn't. : / I'll have to grab it soon. I've heard one song off it. It was quite good.

Tis a great album, although I find that the drum mix lets it down a bit. Just seems to lack a lot of power in the drums, and they're obviolsy too quiet in the mix.
Would like to hear the cover songs though, think I'll have to get the CD haha.

Yeah, the covers are awesome. They're Akercocke-ified. It doesnt sound like a straight up cover, they add their own touch. Jason doesnt try to emulate David Vincent or Chuck and does the vocals in his own death metal style vocals.

Man, I wish I had some money to spare for CDs at the moment...so much good stuff's come out recently!

I know! the new Malevolent Creation & The new Behemoth record both came out yesterday! i'm gonna get the new behemoth this week at some point, and the new MC at some point in the next couple of weeks.

Will have to check it out. It's weird as I remember seeing this band play the Red Eye in london before they got signed and all that. However I still feel they've lost their way with member changes as that original line up just had so much stage presence and just looked evil... At the moment there's one that looks like a schoolboy in an oversized uniform and the other guitarist along with two people who know what they're doing.
