Having said that even if there is no subsequent tour I think it's awesome that they would get together in memory of Ahmet Ertegun, who (at least allegedly) personally supported LZ and kept the pressure off them having to produce hit singles to justify their Atlantic contract. |

I would love to see this.
the only "old School " band I never got a chance to see live. Even with Jason Bonham this would be a great thing to see.
Can I be the devil on your shoulder?

I heard talk about this a few months ago. Sounds like a may really happen, but from what i heard, they had done like a VH1 special or something where they got together with jason bonham on drums and I was told it was really weak.
I'd have to go see it for myself, but I wouldn't necessarily have high hopes for a great concert. I dunno how good those guys are doing for their age, ya know? |

funny thing is that it is bonham.... just not john. if anyone should replace him it should be his son. what other drummer on earth has more led in their blood?

Jason Bonham is an awesome drummer, but from what I've heard Plant's not doing so great with the vocals lately.

Yeah, Plant's singing would be the issue. I'd still go see it if it happened, though. Both the Page/Plant tours were very enjoyable. The second one might as well have been a Zeppelin tour, since that's all they did.
