Any musicians reading this right now? We all know how frustrating it is to get riff stolen from us, and I mean not even altered, just lazily stolen right off our songs, our hard worked songs. When you aren't signed it's even more aggravating because you got no set copyright for the masses.

I know we all respect Bulb here, and many look up to him.

So, since we all love Bulby, should we burn the Frankenstein or what?

The song is the first one on the page. Cold White Christ. The riff starts after 3 minutes of play. The riff stolen from Bulb is in the song "The Fast Ones" which starts at 45 seconds of song play.

I honestly felt like taking a dump when I heard this guys music, no offense to anyone. I am getting into prog. bands more and more, but that...naw. I much rather play some Chimp Spanner/Figure Ground and have a good time listening to it.

I had something like that happen when I was living in France in the late 80's. A few of my songs got aired on a Paris radio station and a few weeks later a then famous singer comes out with a new hit that was one of my songs to the note. The guy just threw in some French lyrics and released the song. It was either the radio or the studio where I recorded the song, but somewhere along the way I was robbed. Hell, we were watching a variety show on tv and the guy came on to sing the song, and my dad burst out, "Hey! That's YOUR song!!!!"

Yeah, my balls emitted flames, and I wasn't getting any at the time so I knew it was my ire and not something more sinister and disgusting.

I just listened to the song. A blatant ripoff, IMO. I noticed the beginning of the riff a little before the 3 minute mark, actually. But ya gotta remember, at the end of the day, Bulb still beats the shit out of this band. I have only given this page one listen, and that's all. I refuse to give them the satisfaction of thinking people are visiting the page because they ripped Bulb off. It's probably some kind of publicity stunt.

Wow man! that is ROUGH. I am paranoid about stuff like that too. That's why I always try to think of someway to keep track of my music things and try to copy right somehow.

The thing that shocks me is that there is a copyright on the music. Soundclick gives you the option to copyright music, IIRC.
