The intro/mainriff sounds exactly like the closing riff of "Forever" by As I lay dying... although technically that's not really their riff either

I liked the music (although Black Wood's "Kill Me Satan" is a current fave of mine).

This band's name is just awful, though, IMHO.

Walknut is the term for the symbol of the Odin Worshipper's cult. It means 'Knot of the Slain'.

It would likely be pronounced more like "Vhal-k'noot." Sounds pretty cool to me. I'm digging all this Nordic sounding metal coming about lately.

it sounds cool if you know how to pronounce it, but to most english speakers it would be like "wal-k-nut" kinda like walnut mixed with k-mart
