I don't know, but this guy just strikes me as a total weenie. I listened to that "Joy" thing and it reminded me of my 12-year old cousin who has played for 3 months attempting to play Bach with a really plodding drummer. Not exactly what I'd expect from a "Maestro".

And the whole thing just reminds me of the Seinfeld episode where Elaine dated the conductor who insisted that everyone call him "Maestro".

The wierd thing is, on the older recordings I've got of him, he actually possesses decent chops (although very little musical individuality), so I'm not sure what the fuck he was thinking with this new stuff...
